summary of today

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KALAI!!!

reached city hall as early as 830am, just to see a big group of policemen pacing up and down the station. *yawns*
fancy meeting an hr ealier just to get changed.

darling and i sat at the stairs to have out breakfast - bread with cheese and ham + curry puffs + ice lemon tea.

got changed at the toilet at Raffles City before we headed to CHIJMES.
it was both of our first time there.it is quite big.cool.

i must say this job is simply paying me to slag, and to see MM Lee.hoho.

the event was a Barclay PLC Lunch, a closed door lunch with the IMF ppl and no reporters.
there's a speech session given by the MM Lee and the chairman of Barclay.
then, there's a Q&A session before the lunch starts.

AND, cameras are installed in the toilet!out of point thou.BUT i dunno where exactly is it installed lar coz i forced myself to bear with it till the end of the function.haha.

i must say it's really very relaxed!here goes the list of things we [employed by IMPACT] did.

- Cocktail + Canape -> everyone went ard with champagnes and finger food fer the guest who arrived in cars specially fer IMF guests, waiting to enter the ballroom.
it's very cool.a grp of guys are assigned to pick up the platters of finger food from the kitchen to the security check point of the ballroom where another grp took over the platters and passed it to us, the service crew.
sad to say, 3 girls broke glasses of champagnes from their tray.2 were being knocked and the other, i'm not sure.one of those being knocked was splashed all over a guest's expensive suit.[luckily it wasn't me who spilled it =X ]

- Lunch -> there's only 2 dishes fer the lunch.Codfish was the main dish and miniature of desserts.
there were 2 service crew assigned to each table.[so damn relax!]
all i did was topping up their still water n presenting their individual dish to their place n clear some plates.the lunch ended in 1/2 hr [doesn't include speech n Q&A time]
we cleared a lil of the glasses n were told to wait outside as they wanted to have a meeting.
so from 225pm, we waited till 3 when we were supposed to end work.and so we did.
haha, i tink we worked less than 3 hrs.we were paid fer 5 hrs. =]

hehe, get to see MM Lee in a close up view.but onli 4 selected crew get to serve him.
stickers were given to identify crew allowed in ballroom n the 4 who can serve MM Lee.
so cool.
and
went to Rendezvous to collect pay, only to noe that Chris had collected on our behalf.
so we headed down to Far East to shop fer leenz prezzie.
OMG!dar & i saw a very nice belt!!!shall get it when i've had money!
bought two bikinis from Sheer Romance!woohoo~nice!however, bought on credit =(
haha, dar say wanna gif it to mi as a gift but i insisted on having only one as gift.so he bo bian but to agree!thanks darling!
and also, we'd finally get the prezzie done.we've bought the prezzie!so leenz, when are u meeting mi?haha.

and i saw jamie with mama. =P
