2 countdowns in a week. an enjoying week yet all things have to come to an end.
school's starting tomorrow(officially) for all while mine on thursday since tomorrow's project day. it's going to be damn busy. hang on there peeps!

new year eve was spent with collecting my mask early in the morning at 9am! the current supplier is so efficient! they were already ready to send meeet me up the following day after my order is sent!

went home to put my masks and meet up with dar and long long to go swimming! went JE but was under maintenance till 2pm. so we headed down to JW after confirmation with his friends that it's OPEN! swam till 1+pm before having KFC at JP. went home to change while he sent long long home. and i got a little tanned!

met up at city hall and headed for countdown at a good spot near esplanade in the early evening. thanks to dar's friend, Jeff, together with his gf if not we might not have such a superb view of the fireworks! shall not share the place else i'll have more competitors next year! =X

pretty fire works!

didn't video or take much photos coz i've decided to enjoy rather than missing any of it! the fireworks are damn big and close to me! the best view i'd ever seen!!! it's as though they are coming at me and i can just catch it! i love the small stars and big heart shape while dar loves the small, red ping pong balls. the fireworks shooting to the river is also nice! great job singapore!

home after that. the road is so congested that my NR got jammed at Central mall stop for like more than 15 mins! my journey took almost 1 1/2 hr instead of the usual 1 hour!

my last events during the last week of 2007!

went out for our 2nd anniversary dinner on 29th! caught I am Legend at PS. not bad a show.
then we walked and walked, got abit lost especially when i dunno where we were heading to! only he noes! and we finally found this real SECRET place! The Secret Garden! it's located in a quite quiet place. i don't think i'll notice it if i walk pass!

the ambiance is good. quiet and relaxed with nice lightings. service is prompt and food is served hot! they are well known for the quality of their food. but sadly they only serve their special xmas & new year menu for that week! i suppose it's to handle the crowd well. so we had set dinner at $40+++ and $50++++ which comes with a soup, (choice of) appetizer, main course and a dessert each.

the food are really good, only too small a portion and quite costly i find. overall, a good experience! =D

after that we walked over to DHL balloon! finally, we are going up together!
