sacrifices?

able to get into a local university to do a degree is the wish of almost everyone.so is it mine.however, given my performance in the 1st year of my poly life, i doubt i'm able to do so, unless i'm doing a private degree.which simply means, MORE money.

chancing upon one of the entries of my eldest brother's blog, he wishes to go abroad n further his studies after getting his degree.however, he clearly know himself that if he is to do so, our family financial will become a problem for a year later, my second brother will finish his national service and will also be doing a degree, most probably a private one and i'll still be in poly.the large sum of school fees my dad have to pay will be enuff to choke him up, needless to think about my eldest brother's overseas school fees n allowance.this left my brother in thoughts that he should give up the idea of going abroad to do a degree.

after reading that blog entry, lots of thinking came across my mind.for once, i thought that it'll be enuff fer mi to just obtain a diploma and step into the working life.for one, my eldest brother can go overseas and accomplish his wish and two, i can contribute to the family income.after all, i'm just a girl.this world is still sexist.to most parents, girls are "puo chu qu de shui" [water that is veing splashed out] so they dun see the point of "investing" so much in them.i know that my parents do not totally think this way and they do still want to provide me with what they can, but after much thinking, i thought that it'll be good for my brother's future if he is to really go abroad n further his studies.so why not?anyways, there's still a year or so to go so will wait till he has graduted with his degree then will this matter be brought up again.

back to today.the trg at M hotel sucks.the 4 of us slipped away halfway thru.i'm going to M'sia with darling tml!woots!hehe..thanks darling!hope it'll be a wonderful trip!!lurve u lots darling!muacks!!!hehe.alrites, gotta pass my com to my brother.haha.will update again!
